Do I need a lift kit or modifications for my ATV or UTV wheel and tire setup?
Whether you need a lift kit or other modifications depends on the tire size you want to run and your machine's stock clearances -- our team can help you figure it out.
Whether you need a lift kit for your ATV or UTV depends on how much larger you want to go with your tires compared to the factory setup.
Stock clearance (Easy Fit): Most ATVs and UTVs can accommodate a modest tire size increase without any modifications, especially if you stay within the Easy Fit range for your specific machine.
Lift kit (Aggressive Fit): If you want to run significantly larger or wider tires -- common for mud builds, dune machines, or trail rigs -- a lift kit will provide the necessary clearance to prevent rubbing on the fenders, frame, and suspension components. Popular options include High Lifter lift kits for Polaris and Can-Am machines.
Wheel spacers: Sometimes used alongside or instead of a lift kit to push wheels outward and provide additional tire clearance. See our spacers guide for details.
