# What is Affirm Financing?
## Affirm offers flexible financing as an alternative to credit cards, making it easy to buy the wheels or tires you need within your budget.
Affirm is a financing alternative to credit cards, designed to deliver honest financial products that make it easy to get the wheels, tires, or suspension upgrades you need.
With Affirm, you can buy your products now and pay for them over time in fixed monthly installments that fit your budget. Here's what makes Affirm great:
- Real-time approval in seconds -- Affirm will disclose your loan terms before you complete your purchase
- No hidden fees -- you'll know exactly what you owe each month
- No credit card required
- Email and SMS payment reminders, plus an easy Auto-pay option
*Your rate will be 0% APR or 10-36% APR based on credit, subject to an eligibility check. For example, a $700 purchase might cost $72.21/mo over 12 months at 15% APR. Payment options provided by lending partners at [affirm.com/lenders](https://affirm.com/lenders). Options depend on your purchase amount, and a down payment may be required.*
